On the Couch with Hooly (OTCHOOLY) is more than just a motorsports podcast. Daniel (Hooly) Holihan’s guests are from all sides of the track, eras, and personalities. Hey! I’m Dan, Hooly…or whatever name someone comes up with. Apparently ‘Hooly’ is difficult to spell. Who knew? Some of you might know me from the track, for those who don’t I’ve been racing since I was young. It started in the world of karts, and I then went on to race everything from speedway, production cars and open wheelers. I’m currently racing in Formula Ford and soon you might see me back behind the wheel of a tin top.

When I’m not trackside you’ll find me online sharing my love of motorsports on my blog, podcast, or social media, where I love a good meme or smartass quote! You might also catch me at the latest burger or beer joint…I love my burgers. Otherwise, I’m hanging with my girlfriend by the beach chilling out. Read more about me here!

Hi! I’m Brooke, the show’s producer. I’m new to the world of motorsports, but not sports. For over a decade I was a distance swimmer, competing both in the pool and open water. In recent years I decided to try fight sports (Boxing & Muay Thai) and you’ll find me now trying my hand at Brazilian Ju Jitsu (BJJ).

It wasn’t until I met Hooly that I was introduced to the world of motorsports and I have to say, I absolutely love it! Storytelling is my jam, asking the hard questions and also when I don’t know what the hell something means, I’ll ask (for me and those also new to the world of motorsports).

Outside of the show and sports, I’m a creative type writing, illustrating, photographing, and filming. And yep, I live with Hooly, so you’ll find us beachside, sipping coffee and eating…we love our food! Read more about me here!
